Legal reception of citizens took place at the branch of DEU-23 of RUE "Brestavtodor" and the Ivatsevichi district trade union association. It was conducted by the legal labor inspector of the Brest regional trade union organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Transport and Communications Workers Ekaterina Shestak, the assistant prosecutor of the Ivatsevichi district Kirill Parchuk and the chairman of the Ivatsevichi district trade union association Alexandra Gordeiko.
Those who applied were interested in questions about changing the vacation schedule at the initiative of the employer, about the procedure for assigning a qualification category to an accountant, about the procedure for providing a break for rest and food to a part-time employee, about the procedure for paying average earnings during labor leave if it is granted at the request of the employee.
During the legal reception, all questions received were given competent answers and explanations.
As part of the day of legal education and legal culture, which was held in the workforce of the branch Daewoo-23 of RUE "Brestavtodor", Ekaterina Shestak spoke on the topic "Innovations of the Labor Code 2024".
The legal inspector commented on the changes that affected the payment period for vacation pay: “They will need to be paid no later than two days before the start of the vacation if the employee follows the vacation schedule. In other cases (in particular, when rescheduling vacation), vacation pay will have to be paid with the consent of the employee no later than two working days from the date the vacation began.”
Let us remind you that before January 1, vacation pay was paid in all cases no later than two days before the start of the vacation.
