The key event of the Week in the specialty “Welding Works,” which took place at the Ivatsevichi State Agrarian College from February 12 to 16, was a professional skills competition among students of groups 483 and 484. The competition was held with the aim of identifying the level of professional skill and determining the creative potential of students, improving the image of the profession. During the task, as explained by industrial training master A.S. Kravchenya, the competitors had to assemble and weld the “Pressure Vessel” structure. The students' work was evaluated by industrial training masters according to the following criteria: compliance with safety regulations, organization of the workplace, quality of work performed, tightness of the welded product, etc. were taken into account. The winners of the professional skills competition were determined based on the results of all competitive tasks (theoretical and practical rounds).
